NAME: Resmond T. Stone

SPECIES: Unknown, presumed human
ANYTHING ELSE: Resmond's background is mostly shrouded in mystery. Little is really known about his parents, and all official records are vague at best. The adoption agency never disclosed enough information to be easily read into, and it was this way on purpose.

He has no special offensive abilities to note. He does not yield a weapon, and can hardly navigate his classroom at times. He tends to be clumsy by nature, and though he is bright, he is sorely lacking in social skills. Overall he is a friendly man, but it is widely known that his fuse is short and that his word is law when class is in session.

He was adopted by Abigail and June Stone, a couple living in one of the colonies on the Earth's Moon. They were the best mothers anyone could ask for, although Resmond was rather spoiled and put on a pedestal. His heightened intelligence did not go unnoticed, and he was guided and directed all throughout his childhood. This, in turn, hindered dating and making many friendships. College went by quickly and Resmond was thrust into a position almost immediately.

He has dedicated his life to his job and educating his students, although in his spare time he enjoys the act of writing. He has been published several times, and endeavors to be published again. The writing community recognizes his name and face, and he has received honors throughout his life.

Resmond took up working on The Gladius as a chance to see more of the world outside that of the Earth and Moon. He has no attachments aside from his parents, and has been more than happy to take over the positions offered to him.

Unknown Information: His parents hailed from a planet rarely visited and unwelcoming to most of the rest of the known worlds. His mother saved his life by getting him off of the planet and out of their society, as his conception was "illegal" and therefor punishable by death if the infant was discovered. At birth he was taken away, never to know the woman later put to death or the father that rose to fame for revealing her to the government.

In taking after his species, Resmond does not look to be his age. He rather appears to be a man in his mid to late twenties, comfortably fit and in relatively good health. His actual age is forty-five, and with age has come suspicions about his heritage. Resmond is no longer convinced of his supposed "human" background, and harbors the urge to find his real parents. He knows this may never happen, and has come to accept it over time.
